& walking paths and a Links golf course at Sandilands.

Just along the coast with attractions including animal gardens/nature
centre and seal trust, fairground and Dunes family entertainment
centre and the beach sand train.
Skegness offers an action packed outing for all the family with
attractions including day visits to Butlins' Funcoast World, Natureland
seal sanctuary, Skegness pier and Laser Quest, pleasure beach,
attractive gardens and excellent shopping
For an all action day out why not drive along the coast towards
Skegness where the excitement and thrills of Fantasy Island include
white knuckle roller coaster rides. For bargain hunting Lincolnshire's
largest daily indoor and outdoor market complex is next door,
offering designer clothes to garden plants or Chinese rugs to
DIY, at a fraction of High Street prices.
Traditional Cleethorpes holiday attractions include Pleasure Island
(admission by day pass), pier, light railway & Deep Sea Experience.
Markets are held on Wednesday (plus summer craft market) and Saturday,

Alford is a quaint Lincolnshire town, with market days on Tuesday
& Friday and a craft market every Friday (July to start of
Sept). Attractions include Manor House museum, a working five
sailed windmill and summer art & craft markets
Boston has been a thriving port since medieval times, situated
near the Wash. Market days Wednesday (including auction) and Saturday.
Attractions include 14th century Boston stump, a working windmill,
Guildhall museum and Blackfriars art centre
Louth with its intricate pattern of narrow winding streets, old
inns and Georgian architecture offers interesting shopping with
market days on Wednesday (auction from 11am), Friday (also cattle
market), and Saturday. A most impressive sight greeting visitors
is the gothic steeple of St James church, the tallest spire in
England
Spilsby is a sleepy Lincolnshire market town (market day Monday),
with traditional inns and shops, and 14th century St James's church.
Visit Gumby Hall to the east of Spilsby with wonderful gardens
and Tennyson's "Haunts of ancient peace"

Grimsby offers excellent shopping at Freshney Place with market
days Tuesday & Thursday to Saturday, (plus Friday at Freeman
Street). Also worth a visit is the national fishing heritage centre
Close to Skegness, Burgh le Marsh is a busy little town with a
market square, traditional shops and a good selection of pubs.
Look out for a five sailed windmill in working order and the Anglo
Saxon burial mound

Horncastle offers many antique centres and excellent pine shops
with home manufactured items. The remains of roman walls and St
Mary's church are worth checking out. Market days are Thursday
and Saturday
Lincoln is famous for its magnificent cathedral, one of England's
oldest, a wealth of medieval architecture, castle and magna carta,
excellent shopping and boat trips
